Internal Logistics Solution Kyocera

We have delivered a total solution to Kyocera in Sunds. The task was to optimize their production.

Kyocera's requirement was that the solution should be able to transport goods between a number of different workstations, so that employees did not have to transport goods and materials between the different workstations and the warehouse themselves.

The choice og mobile robot fell on Omrons LD-90, as it is created for the purpose. The LD-90 is capable of handling pickup and delivery with high precision and without human error. It can handle a maximum load of up to 70 kg and has a top speed of 1.35 m/s.

CesTek Top-Conveyor and Floor-Conveyor exchange boxes in few seconds, which means that the entire solution including driving time can make up to 30 exchanges per hour.

In addition to the Omron LD-90 mobile robot, the solution includes:

1 pc. CesTek Spacer

1 pc. CesTek Single Top-Conveyor

2 pcs. Omron Side Lasers

6 pcs. CesTek Double Floor-Conveyor for receiving and picking up goods.
