Product description:
KMP 250P is a highly compact AMR platform developed for internal transport of goods and components up to 250 kg—particularly well suited where space is limited in production and intralogistics. The platform can be optionally equipped with a lifting function (lifting height/stroke 60 mm) to support flexible material flows between stations.
For operation in a modern AMR setup, KMP 250P can be integrated into a single fleet and controlled intuitively via KUKA.AMR Fleet and the standardised communication interface VDA 5050. This makes the solution easy to scale—even as more robots are added or when layouts and transport requirements change. The extended “sleep mode” is designed to make handling larger fleets more user-friendly.
KMP 250P is built with a focus on operational safety: two diagonally mounted laser scanners combined with 3D cameras provide 360° protection. When obstacles are detected, the platform can—if space allows—safely drive around them, or alternatively stop automatically. In addition, differential drive contributes to high manoeuvrability in confined areas.
