Product description:
KMP 1500P is a powerful and flexible autonomous mobile robot (AMR), developed for efficient internal transport and material handling of heavy items up to 1,500 kg. The platform is ideal for intralogistics, supplying production lines, and automated process chains—especially where high requirements are placed on precision, safety, and flexibility.
KMP 1500P can be optionally equipped with an integrated lifting module (lifting height 60 mm), making it suitable for automated handling between stations and storage areas. Navigation is performed via SLAM and QR codes, ensuring precise positioning (±10 mm) and stable operation—even in dynamic and complex environments.
The platform is built for continuous operation: inductive charging enables 24/7 operation, and the battery provides up to 10 hours of runtime per charge. Charging takes place automatically when the battery level is low and does not require installation of a special power supply.
Safety is top-class: laser scanners and 3D cameras ensure automatic obstacle detection and protection of both robot and load. The platform features acoustic and visual signals as well as emergency stops on all corners.
KMP 1500P is easily integrated into existing AMR fleets via KUKA.AMR Fleet and the standardized VDA 5050 communication interface. This makes the solution scalable and easy to adapt to changing layouts or transport requirements.
