With the digitalization and the new automation solutions from CesTek, the production flow has been streamlined and made more efficient, with bottlenecks removed and many of the daily, time-consuming, repetitive manual pushing, pulling, and lifting tasks automated. This provides employees with an improved working environment, freeing them to perform value-creating tasks.
Where the robot does the heavy lifting…
The fully automated mobile robot (Omron TM-LD90 with CesTek’s specially designed top conveyor, control cabinet, PLC/HMI incl. interface to MES and Q system) collects the finished product at the end stations of the assembly lines (CesTek floor conveyor) and ensures that the item is transported safely onward to an intermediate photo box—and finally delivers the item to the packing line.
…and the packing line makes it easy and clear, and provides the final push.
When the item automatically rolls onto the CesTek packing line at a good working height, it is easy for the employee to prepare the packaging—and simply activate the automatic infeed unit that pushes the item into the box—after which the fully packed product can roll automatically past the Q scanner and on to shipping.
